Elaine Wade

Elaine first treated herself to a KB intro class the day after her 29th birthday. She had never, EVER been that into working out, or even really that physically active, which she knew wasn’t good, but she just never found anything that was interesting enough to keep her going for more than a few weeks at a time. A friend had raved about the intro class she had tried, so Elaine thought, what the heck. Let’s give this a whirl.

For the next two years, Elaine was fanatical. This was the best thing ever! Elaine had muscles! Elaine’s clothes fit better! Elaine FELT better! More energy, better body composition…all that good stuff. Yep, Elaine was really doing great…

Then…life happened. Stuff came up. Good stuff, bad stuff… just stuff. We have all been there. First, you miss one class. Then, you miss two. The next thing you know, you forget where your gym is.

All of this happened to Elaine. Elaine called Delaine and put her membership on hold. That day, Elaine even asked herself, Am I done? Am I never going back? She didn’t know the answer then.

Fast forward 18 months. Some more stuff happened. Elaine gained some of that weight back. She got comfortable. She wasn’t motivated. But, then, one day last March, Elaine woke up and told herself, this is the day you will get your motivation back. This is the day you are going to start taking care of yourself again. This is the day–you are going back to the gym today.

Coming back is hard. You have to relearn everything over again. You have to meet all the new people, look like a newbie yourself…oh, the nerves! How nervous Elaine was to come back! Would her form still be good? Would she get her strength back? Would she ever press a 12 again?

Eight months later, Elaine is still coming back, and she is stronger than ever. Nine pounds lighter, she is pressing a 12 again, and just passed her first skills test level. She is swinging heavier, harder, and for longer.

It may sound like a small victory, but to Elaine, it’s the only one that matters.

Rob Horton, Former GT Defensive Captain

As a former athlete, I’m always looking for the most effective, efficient, and intelligent workout. I like kettlebell training because it’s quick, you get results, and you dictate how hard you want to work each day. If you want a harder day you pick up a heavier weight and if you want to take it easier, you pick up a lighter bell.

Laura Lancaster Archer

I think maybe I should be nominated for “Most Improved” because I remember that when I first started coming, I was struggling to do a get-up and thought “I will NEVER get this!” But classic “Girl meets kettlebell, girl falls in love with kettlebell, girl sticks with kettlebell and good things happen…” I’ve lost weight, I’ve met some great people, I’ve got some “mad strongs” and a couple of years later I have gotten my HKC certification and now help TEACH people to do get-ups! Which is AWESOME! Who knew? Thanks again for the nomination!

Bob Munson

Hi, I’m Bob Munson and honestly the kettlebell gym has changed my life. I have actually lost some weight, I’m actually able to MOVE (which I wasn’t able to do before,) AND I’ve been able to make some new friends. So it really has changed every aspect of my life. Thanks, Condition!

Lori Whitaker

I’ve been coming to kettlebells since March and have always been active. I was a college athlete and always knew where my plateaus were and had a hard time breaking certain weights in certain lifts.

I knew kettlebells gave a great workout but was skeptical about what kind of real progress I could make until, over Thanksgiving, I went to the local big box gym and tried the traditional lifts.

Surprisingly, I had 40-80% strength gain on every lift I tested. I’ve also, after 8 months, cut my cardio in half!

Diane Haney

When I signed up for the kettlebell workshop almost 5 months ago, all I knew is that I wanted to try

something different and have been hooked ever since.  The instructors’ enthusiasm, knowledge, patience,

and encouragement have kept me going. Delaine has put together a great team of instructors. Every class

is almost like having a personal trainer. I feel like I come out of every class having learned something new,

a little bit stronger, and have better form.  When I began classes I was recovering from major elbow surgery

and had very little strength in my right arm.  Now I am almost back to 100% strength, better than physical

therapy.  I would encourage anyone – no matter your shape, size, athletic ability or age to give kettlebells

a try if you want a great all around workout.  Best of all you will see quick results!!!

Kellee Nash

Hi, I’m Kellee Nash and I have been coming since April. So far, I have lost 10 pounds and 2 inches off of my waist – and I love it! And my favorite exercise is swings because it’s strength and cardio in one!

Bre Johnson

My name is Bre and I’ve been a member of Condition gym for about one year. Before kettlebells, my life was pretty much lacking in any real exercise. I’d joined gyms in the past and never saw the results that I was looking for, aside from the fact that I never really liked the traditional gym environment.

I can honestly say that I have never really enjoyed working out, until now. I cannot say enough good things about kettlebells, Condition Gym and all of it’s amazing instructors. This has truly been life changing for me. I am a busy mother of a three year old and work a full time job. What gets me through the day is actually looking forward to my workout! Seriously, I really do look forward to it. Long gone are the dreadful days of dragging my feet to get to the gym. It’s also easy to fit into my crazy schedule because the workouts are only 45 minutes long, but more effective than 2 hours at the gym!

The weight loss is rapid, and the strength and flexibility that I have gained is unbelievable. I am so much stronger, flexible and have an incredible amount of energy. All back pain is gone! I am now a Super Mom!!

My mood is also better than it’s been for a very long time and my family also thanks Kettlebells for that! I look forward to many more years of Kettlebells and am so glad that I found you!!!

Keith Jenkins

(You dont want to miss this video…) I have only been coming to kettlebells for 4 months and it’s already changed my life. I’ve lost 18 pounds and gained 6 pounds of muscle. I’ve obviously gotten stronger.

I have never experienced an exercise that I looked forward to and missed the times that I couldn’t make it.

One serious change is I dropped another 20 points on cholesterol levels strictly from this exercise and have finally gotten a doctors approval to stop taking medication for it.

Jaclyn Shoknecht

I’ve been coming to Condition for 2 years now. I started doing kb to supplement yoga because I missed doing a weight workout… then I just fell in love and never went back to yoga. I am now certified to teach which is really exciting.

Kettlebells helped me lose my baby weight. I’ve gotten leaner, I’m certainly stronger and it’s given me a lot more confidence.

I also love Condition – I have made a lot of friends there. I’m looking forward to teaching some classes in the years to come and be a kettlebell advocate.

I’m sure my friends are sick of hearing about it but I really love it.

Valerie Robinson

I’ve been a member for about 9 months and I really enjoy the workout, I love the trainers, I like the fact that you can come in and get your workout done in 45 minutes and you don’t have to wear shoes!

And I love the people that come here – everyone is really kind. I’m honored to be nominated for Member of the Year!

Jonathan Rotenberg

Hi I’m John and I have been coming for 10 months. Kettlebells have been really good for me because I’ve lost 20 pounds (it was 30 until I ate a bunch of cookies.) It’s the quickest I’ve ever gotten back in shape. I have two little kids and I was really feeling rough when I started here but now I’m able to play with them a lot more… and eat more… and just get up when I fall down. So thanks!
